"Milk is Nature's Beauty Secret" This is what my grandmother used to say.... and I still believe her.

Perfumed Soaps

"What do you mean by "Handmade" soap?"

All of my soaps are made from scratch, not pre-packaged bases and that is a promise! My soap recipe is one that I hold dearly because I have spent years researching vegetable oils to uncover just the right ratios. I have tested a variety of clays & botanicals to pair the most beneficial with the blend.

“So what makes your soap so special?”

You will fall in love with Frankie Mae because I use "Farm Fresh" organic goat's milk. To this I add 2 tablespoons of unfiltered, raw honey. The first thing you will notice after your first batch with a bar of my soap is how remarkably soft and moisturized your skin feels.

“Does your soap have lye in it?”

Real soap is formed by a chemical process called "saponification". In the process of blending the oils, I add a lye solution to jumpstart the soap making process.  Once the oils and lye solution have successfully blended together - the mixture is poured into wooden molds and allowed to set for 24 hours. Once this time is complete - all lye has been completely used up by the fatty acid molecules supplied by the oils during this process. The fresh soap loaf is then cut and prepared to air dry for 4 more weeks.

"How long does each bar last?"

That depends on how much you use it. One bar will generally last about 2-3 weeks if only one person is using it, once a day. Also, it is important to keep your soap dry when it's not in use. Natural soaps do not contain synthetic hardeners, so they do melt away, or turn to mush, if left in a puddle of water. We carry an attractive soap dish that will prolong the life of your soap.

Perfumed Candles

"What do you mean by "Handmade" candle?"

Each candle that I offer for sale is carefully crafted by hand in my home. I do not purchase pre-made candles at a discount to resale for profit. I measure, melt and pour the wax into American made glass jars.

"What type of wax do you use in your candles?"

My candles are made from a proprietary blend of soy & paraffin wax that I have found to be both naturally sourced and provide the strongest aroma.
